Project: By Special Request

Recording Period:

The first two requests on this list are, “Oh, My Papa” from my Mom, because it was my Dad’s favorite song when I was born, she told me; and then, “Three Wooden Crosses” from my sister, Sherri, because she thought it would fit my voice.

The final song on the list is just my own request, as I started documenting the chronology of later requests.

With only a few exceptions do I remember who asked, and some I have been asked to sing so many times that I could never remember who, let alone who was first to ask. Some I had never sang before, but most I had become renowned for singing.
